We are proud to present Civil War 2009 at Gibson Ranch May 16th & 17th.
Living History Camps - Walk through Union and Confederate camps and see what day to day life was like for a soldier.
Saturday 11:00 am - 600 pm (tentative time)
Sunday 9:00 am - 3:00 pm (tentative time)
Battle Re-Enactments - Infantry, cavalry, and artillery turn the rolling hills of Gibson Ranch into a Civil War battlefield.
Saturday 12:00 noon and 5:00 pm. (tentative)
Sunday 11:00 am and 2:00 pm (tentative)
Great Food Concessions available - Civil War Music and Dancing, Crafts, Fashion Shows, Speeches by Historical Characters, Horse Drawn Wagon Rides and a great time for the entire family!

Friday May, 15th is our School Program which includes 90 minutes of first person commentary from our NCWA volunteer re-enactors. Students rotate through five informational stations that may include artillery, medical, infantry, generals, civilian or cavalry. Reservation times are: 9:30, 11:00 or 12:30.
Call 916-991-7592 to reserve your school. $6.00 per person (teachers at no cost), payment due March 16, 2009, any unpaid reservations will be canceled March 17th; your reservation is not guaranteed until full payment is received. Registration beginning January 20, 2009. This program is limited to one date per year only, and available to 1125 area students, therefore it will fill quickly on a first come first served basis. Please do not make a reservation for more students than are going to be attending. Also, please be sure to have transportation for your group available before making a reservation.
